p¯pAnnihilation in the Multiperipheral Regge Model

Abstract

Using the simple multi-Regge model of Chew and Pignotti, we obtain an acceptable fit to the bulk of $\overline{p}p$ annihilation data. The parameters of the fit are consistent with ${\sigma }_{\overline{p}p}^{\mathrm{tot}}-{\sigma }_{\mathrm{pp}}^{\mathrm{tot}}\propto s^{\alpha }{\omega }^{\mathrm{}\left(0\right)-1\mathrm{}}$.
