Abstract
The levels of the plasma coagulation factors are raised in the post-traumatic and post-partum periods. Factors I, VIII, IX, and X were raised in two groups, one of patients after trauma, the other of patients after childbirth, while factors V and VII were raised in the puerperal group only. The relationship between these changes and thrombosis in vivo is discussed. Keywords
