Abstract
Dielectric constant of binary mixtures of n-butanol, i-butanol and t-butanol in three nonpolar solvents namely benzene, carbon-tetrachloride and n-heptane have been measured at radio frequency. The linear correlation factor and excess molar polarization in these mixtures have been evaluated. Winkelmann-Quitzsch equation for binary mixtures9)has been used to calculate excess free energy in them. The results have been used to interpret the liquid structure in such mixtures. Keywords
