Cancer of the Lip

Abstract
One hundred sixty-seven case histories of lip cancer were reviewed at the Hadassah University Hospital in Israel. The most common predisposition was hyperkeratosis of the skin of the face, seen in 157 patients on the lower lip with a neoplasm averaging about 2 cm in size. Metastatic glands at time of diagnosis was 20.3% with a delay in diagnosis up to 12 mo. In 86 patients. Treatment of lip cancer was discussed.
