A brief discussion of the clinical features of the syndrome of headache and dizziness which appears during convalescence from head injury. The author feels that it is not sufficiently recognized that the syndrome develops as a separate event when the patient is recovering from or has recovered from brain damage due to the injury. He considers the syndrome to be the patient''s reaction either to intellectual retardation still persisting or to anxiety which is complicating convalescence.
