Abstract
An attempt has been made to develop a biologically specific radioimmunoassay for relaxin in unextracted plasma without recourse in the first instance to the bioassay or to purified relaxin (1). This paper describes how the radioimmunoassay has then been used to examine its own specificity in terms of ovarian and uterine relaxins, their metabolism and heterogeneity in plasma and tissue extracts. Keywords
