Influence of Homologous Tissue Factors on DNA Turnover and Radiation Protection

Abstract
DNA turnover as measured by the incorporation of P32 can be increased in livers and spleens of mice by the repeated injn. of various fractions of homologous tissue mashes and extracts of tissue mashes. Irradiated mice treated with repeated injns. of embryo mash show less DNA depression than saline controls. Repeated injns. of cell-free embryo extract lengthen the survival of irradiated mice.
