Abstract
The angular distributions and energy spectra of the protons emitted, through the interaction of neutrons with an energy of 13.2 Mev with natural aluminium, iron and rhodium, have been studied using photographic emulsions. The experimental results have been compared with the predictions of a model which assumes that these protons can be emitted by two processes: by direct collisions of the incident neutron with a proton in the target nucleus and by the decay of a compound nucleus. Evidence for the process of direct interaction has been obtained in all cases. Keywords
