AGE, SEX AND SPECIES VARIATIONS ON BLOOD PRESSURE IN NORMAL RATS

Abstract

Blood pressures in a series of 130 Wistar Albino rats and 33 Wistar Gray Norways were detd. The Wistar Albinos exhibit a definite tendency toward higher blood pressures with increasing age. No sex differences in blood pressure were noted in the Wistar Albino rats. There are no significant blood pressure differences between these 2 spp.
