Abstract
From 1954-63, 26 cases of Wilm''s tumor were treated by nephrectomy and post-operative radiotherapy commencing not later than the day after the operation. A 2-year survival rate of 30 percent was obtained for all the cases. Seven of the 8 patients operated upon at ages of less than 2 years survived. These results are discussed in the light of Collins'' hypothesis regarding the period of risk. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
