Über die Eiweissbindung der Sulfanilamide in vitro und in vivo

Abstract
The binding of sulfonamides to the plasma is important for their distribution in the organism. The protein binding measured in vitro can be expressed as adsorption isotherms. The same reversible adsorption equilibria exists between adsorbed and unadsorbed sulfonamides as in vitro. By means of the adsorption isotherms the concentration of the unadsorbed sulfonamides in the interstitial fluid can be obtained, provided that 2 factors easily measurable in the plasma are known) the concentration of proteins and the concentration of sulfonamides.
