Abstract
A diet containing 0.03% K and 20% corn oil produced a greater incidence and extent of the myocardial necrosis and fibrosis and dilatation of renal tubules typical of K deficiency than did an isocaloric, 5% corn oil diet containing the same amount of K when the 2 diets were pair fed. No statistically significant differences were observed in other criteria of K deficiency. Keywords
