Behavior of Eigenphases near a Resonance

Abstract
Eigenphases near a resonance are shown to follow an equation which is a simple generalization of the usual equation for the behavior of the phase shift near a resonance in single-channel scattering. The parameters in the equation are shown to have a simple graphical interpretation.Keywords
