Spectre d'émission du radical P2 : Etude des transitions C1Σu+X1Σg+, A1ΠgX1Σg+ et B1ΠuA1Πg

Abstract
Three electronic systems of the P2 radical have been photographed and studied in emission. Sixteen bands of the main system C1Σu+–X1Σg+ have been analyzed and a new perturbation for which the maximum is situated at J = 68 has been observed in the ν = 4 level of the C1Σu+ state. The study of the A1Πg–X1Σg+ transition has been extended by the analysis of the ν′ = 2 and 3 levels and by further observations in the ν′ = 1 level. Finally it has been possible to characterize a new transition B1Πu–A1Πg by the analysis of eight bands. Constants for the new B1Πu state have been calculated.
