T AND B CELLS IN PREGNANCY

Abstract

The relative percents and absolute numbers of peripheral blood total T [thymus-derived lymphocytes], active T and B [bone marrow-derived] lymphocytes in pregnant women throughout gestation are reported. These data agree with other studies reporting normal T and B cell populations during pregnancy.
