Abstract
(La1-x Sr x )2CuO4-δ(LSCO) films were prepared by a screen printing method. Electrical properties of the films were strongly dependent on sintering time and especially on substrate material. Quartz and corning #7059 substrates are found to react with LSCO under high-temperature sintering conditions. Crack formation was observed in the films printed on alumina substrates and sintered at 1000°C. Superconducting films could be obtained by using yttrium stabilized zirconia (YSZ) and La2CuO4 as substrates; T c onset of 42 K and the temperature of zero resistivity as high as 25 K were achieved. Keywords
