Multiple-Scattering Calculation of theK-Light-Nucleus Scattering Lengths

Abstract

The $K^{-}-d$, -$t$, ${-\mathrm{H}\mathrm{e}}^3$, and ${-\mathrm{H}\mathrm{e}}^4$ scattering lengths have been calculated using the multiple-scattering theory with Kim's zero-range $K$-nucleon scattering lengths. The results are in agreement with the $K^{-}-{\mathrm{He}}^4$ scattering experiment and with the three-body calculation of the $K^{-}-d$ scattering length, but not in good agreement with the $K^{-}-{\mathrm{He}}^4$ mesonic-atom experiment.
