Electron-Positron Annihilation in Stagnant Field Theories

Abstract

We discuss the ratio $R\left(s\right)\mathrm{}\equiv \frac{\sigma (e^{+}{e}^{-}\to \mathrm{hadrons})}{\sigma (e^{+}{e}^{-}\to {\mu }^{+}{\mu }^{-})}$ in stagnant (asymptotically free) field theories. The leading correction to the scaling limit is determined.
