A further note on the surface structure of Scenedesmus coenobium

Abstract
Observations of the surface structure of Scenedesmus quadricauda coenobium with the scanning electron microscope confirm, in general, results obtained previously by transmission electron microscopy. However, features such as ridges and the distribution and spatial relationship of various identities such as props, openings, and ridges can now be observed. The existence of bristles described by other authorities is questioned.
