Abstract
Laparoscopic retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy was performed in two patients with clinical Stage I left-sided nonseminomatous germ cell tumors of the testis who were candidates for further management by surveillance. Both patients were discharged after a short hospital stay. At this point, we advocate this approach as a way to improve the accuracy of clinical staging of this disease. Keywords
