Abstract
• Following the oral administration of three 250-mg doses of acetazolamide sodium to nine patients with glaucomatous visual-field defects, a statistically significant improvement in the differential threshold was observed, whereas in 16 glaucoma suspects, no change could be detected. The greatest improvements following acetazolamide administration occurred in younger patients and in those with the greatest disturbances of the visual field.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
