Abstract
Four rheumatoid factors obtained from sera of 3 patients with rheumatoid arthritis and.a normal 19.5 S gamma globulin were analyzed for their amino acid content using the method of Spackman et al. The amino acid content of the individual rheumatoid factors varied significantly. Two rheumatoid factor preparations, differing in serological activity, but obtained from the same individual were also different in their amino acid content. Differences in amino acid contents were established between rheumatoid factors as well as between these and normal 19.5 S and 7 S gamma globulins. Keywords
