Microscopic derivation of nuclear collective variables

Abstract

We give explicit expressions for the collective variables appearing in the Bohr-Mottelson model and in the oscillator part of an interacting boson approximation, as functions of the coordinates of an $A$ nucleon system when $A>>1\mathrm{}$.
