Abstract
Self-assembly of rigid oxygen donor dicarboxylates such as terephthalate and fumarate with a platinum-containing clip-like acceptor unit afforded neutral macrocyclic rectangles which have been characterized by X-ray single-crystal structure analysis as well as NMR spectroscopy.Keywords
