Abstract
The superconducting transition temperatures of six samples of tin with masses ranging from 113.58 to 123.01 were measured by a magnetic method and found to obey a relation of the form . The critical filed curves for the samples of mass 113.58, 118.05, and 123.01 were determined between 1.4°K and 3.8°K and observed to be geometrically similar to about 1 part in 800. From this it is concluded that the electronic specific heat in the normal state is independent of mass, and that the thermodynamic functions derived from the critical field curves also have the similarity property.
