Abstract
The performance of frequency modulation spectroscopic techniques is limited by the modulation cutoff frequency of optical phase modulators. A method which allows for overcoming this limit by using high order sidebands in a double-frequency modulation scheme is proposed. The usefulness of the proposed technique in relation with a recently developed frequency modulation spectroscopy is discussed in detail. Keywords
