Abstract
Temporal lobectomy was performed in 2 cases of temporal lobe epilepsy, traceable to head injury in early life, resembling the Kluver and Bucy syndrome. In both cases there was amelioration of behavior and a steady improvement in intelligence. One case showed increased physical growth and emotional maturity associated with the appearance of a maturational focus in the eeg.Keywords
