Abstract
The energy-level shifts for a multilevel atom interacting with a squeezed vacuum are calculated. The level shifts are made up of two contributions: (i) the ordinary Lamb shift and (ii) a shift due to the squeezed-vacuum intensity spectrum (similar to the blackbody-radiation shifts). Keywords
