Abstract
Apples kept for four weeks in a very wet atmosphere increased in volume by about 3% without any corresponding increase in weight. Experiments on the permeability of apples to the passage of air suggest that, when kept in a very wet atmosphere, they become progressively more permeable during ageing and, conversely that they become less permeable in a dry atmosphere. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
