Frequency Analysis of Electroencephalograms and Latency of Photically Induced Average Evoked Responses in Children with Ariboflavinosis (Preliminary Report)

Abstract
Frequency analysis of eeg and estimation of the average latency of photically induced evoked responses were carried out on children ages 8 to 9 years with or without aribo-flavinosis associated with low serum folate activity. In the aribo-flavinotic children, there was a tendency toward prolonged latency of the photically evoked responses and toward an increase in energy percent at the theta band associated with a decrease in energy percent at the alpha band of frequency in the basic wave.
