Abstract
Comparison of the Mössbauer isomer shift of dilute in with that obtained in chromium-doped insulating shows that the high-temperature anomaly represents a gradual return from the metallic to the insulating state. The implications of this conclusion on the interpretation of the thermal expansion, susceptibility, and transport properties are pointed out.
