Abstract
Fecal flotation was found to be a practical procedure for detecting cryptosporidial infection in diarrheic calves. Fifteen naturally infected diarrheic Holstein-Friesian calves passed Cryptosporidium oocysts, beginning 5 to 12 days after birth and continuing for 3 to 12 days.
