Nucleon Exchange Effects in Deuteron Stripping Reactions and Angular Distributions of Be 9 ( d , n )B 10 Reaction

Abstract
Ordinary deuteron stripping theory has been extended to include the heavy particle stripping process by antisymmetrizing a final state wave function with respect to an ejected nucleon and a target nucleon. A formalism presented by Owen and Madansky is inconsistent for discussing an interference effect between the ordinary deuteron stripping process and the heavy particle stripping process. Experimental results of angular distributions of the Be9 (d,n)B10 ground state neutron are well reproduced by the present theory.
