Abstract
The kidney was found to be the site of the greatest vit. B12 concn. in rats raised on a corn-soybean diet. The liver, heart, small intestine, and femoral muscles contained no appreciable amts. of the vit. after the animals had been kept on the basal ration for 6 wks. When vit. B12 was added to the diet, the amt. in the organs and tissues increased. Keywords
