Abstract
This paper reviews the current status of mechanical devices that control blood glucose concentrations. They can be divided into 2 categories: closed-loop systems, in which insulin or other substances are given in response to a measured amount of glucose and open-loop systems, in which insulin is delivered in a preprogrammed manner independent of the amount of measured glucose. This publication has 25 references indexed in Scilit:
