Abstract
A circularly-polarized (CP) microstrip antenna with wide beamwidth for the global positioning system (GPS) application is proposed. It consists of an improved slotted ground plane antenna with a pyramidal structure in order to increase the beamwidth. Comparing the proposed antenna to the similar antennas, it has a simple structure and a higher gain, also, the beamwidth can reach about 130°, which satisfies the application of 120°.Keywords
