A New Halophilic Species of Eurotium

Abstract
Eurotium halophilium, conidial stage of Aspergillus halophilous, was isolated from several samples of grain obtained from different regions of the U.S. and stored 2 years in the laboratory at moisture contents of 13-14%. The fungus evidently is a member of the A. restrictus series, and is adapted to environments of high osmotic pressure.
