By the direct and indirect immunofluorescent technique, the presence of complement and globulin concomitantly bound to the intercellular substance of the prickle cell layer of the epidermis was demonstrated in biopsy sections of the skin adjacent to the bullous lesions of 4 patients with pemphigus-vulgaris.Keywords
