Abstract
Measurements of the temperature coefficient of the emission intensity of C2 bands in the King furnace yield a ΔH00 of sublimation of 195±5 kcal for the ground state of C2 (1Σg+) and a dissociation energy of 6.25 ev for C2.Keywords
