Pauli Principle and the Pion-Nucleus Interaction

Abstract
The effect of the Pauli principle on the low-energy pion-nucleus interaction is examined. We find that the Pauli effects do not appreciably alter the estimate of the strength of the -wave optical potential based on free-space scattering volumes.
