Abstract
A lower bound for the order parameter of the model due to Sherrington and Kirkpatrick (1975) results from the convergence condition of the TAP equations (Thoulmers et al., 1977). The (slightly modified) TAP solution is compatible with this bound. Other published solutions can be excluded.Keywords
