Abstract
When mature rats ingested the protein and carbohydrate moieties of an adequate diet separately over short periods of time, fat being associated with both fractions, they showed a small loss of N and body wt.. like the human adult. Young rats showed a loss of appetite but suffered no apparent disability to metabolise protein. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
