Abstract
An analytical approach has been invoked for analyzing the multiple-scattering effects in small-angle scattering (SAS) from polydispersed systems. The extractable parameter has been found to be the moment ratio 〈〉/〈〉, in the limit of effective-medium approximation. This formalism is useful in characterizing the inhomogeneities from SAS measurements under certain approximations, as discussed in this paper.
