Abstract
A rapid and simple method for ultramicro determination of Ca and Mg in a single sample of biological material was developed. The direct stepwise photo-electric ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid titration was utilized, using NaOH-murexide for Ca, and glycine (boiling), Eriochrome Black T for Mg. The titration was carried out continuously in simple pyrex test tubes, and recorded with an E. E. L. Titrator. Blanks were obtained by double titration. The method showed a satisfactory degree of accuracy for clinical purposes. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
