Abstract
To reduce error in measuring rapidly fluctuating air temperatures within a body cavity, a small, shielded thermojunction was devised. Experimental evaluation demonstrated that it read changing air temperatures to ±0.1°C with a 50 percent response time of 0.2 second at air flows exceeding 2 liters/minute. The technique of making the small junction and the recording apparatus is described.
