Abstract
A magnetic field of appropriate magnitude can increase the correlation length of one-dimensional, classical antiferromagnets of the Heisenberg or XY type. It follows that the Néel temperature of quasi-one-dimensional antiferromagnets can be increased by a magnetic field, in agreement with recent experiments on TMMCKeywords
