Abstract
A substance extracted with methanol from the body and salivary secretions of the tobacco budworm, Heliothis virescens (F.), elicited a host-seeking response in its parasite, Cardiochiles nigriceps Viereck. This extract, when placed on filter paper, elicited oviposition attempts on several occasions. The host-parasite relationship is discussed. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
