Abstract
We have examined complete inactivation conditions on brain homogenates from mice affected with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease agent, and recommend for routine use a reliable procedure first treating the affected materials with 1 N NaOH for 60 min and then autoclaving at 121 °C for 30 min. Keywords
