Abstract
Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) shunting has been associated with a significant number of complications, the commonest being shunt malfunction, infection and subdural haematomas. Delayed pneumocephalus following CSF diversion is a rare complication. Two cases are presented and the literature is reviewed with respect to the aetiology and management of this problem. Keywords
