Abstract
The capacity of chromatin purified from uteri and lungs of untreated ovariectomized rats to serve as a template for DNA-dependent RNA polymerase increases during a 12-hr, period of in vitro preincubation at 37[degree]C. This increase is markedly enhanced in uterine (but not in lung) chromatin by the presence of 5 [mu][image] 17[beta]-estradiol (but not 17[alpha]-estradiol),.This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
